Byrsh-Class Patrol Ships are combat ships of the Humankind Empire Abh, and are employed in large numbers by the Star Forces.
History[]
The Byrsh-Class patrol ships succeeded the Bilsh-Class Patrol Ship design likely a decade before the early 950s. Several hundred at least were in service by ICY 952 and many were seen within the Empire's scout and attack fleets.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Byrsh class features the same general design as the Bilsh-Class with EM cannons away from the hull but the Byrsh class has a much larger engine design, giving it greater thrust and maximum speed. With the removal of two forward EM cannons (except on command variants), the Byrsh-Class seems an attempt to experiment with maneuverability versus firepower. As such, the Byrsh-class is especially effective in scouting fleets or squadrons such as Futune.
